My name is Sébastien Vandenitte. As of October 2025, I will be working as an F.R.S.–FNRS postdoctoral fellow at the LSFB Lab of the University of Namur, Belgium.
I hold BA (Modern Languages & Literatures) and MA (Linguistics) degrees from Université Libre de Bruxelles. I completed my PhD (Languages, Literatures, and Translation Studies) at the LSFB-Lab of the University of Namur, Belgium, with the support of a Research Fellow grant from the Fund for Scientific Research (F.R.S.–FNRS). After my PhD, I moved to Finland to work as a postdoctoral researcher at the Sign Language Centre of the University of Jyväskylä.
